    Smile Please help

    Please help me with this coin.I spent weeks in searching without any special results.
    this is link to the picture,on my coin are exactly the same words,except my is gold
    and weight is 3.3g,I measured.

    if informations are correct on picture,coin could be minted only in Misir(Cairo,Egypt)
    that's all I found

    Welcome aboard, I can't help with the coin, I'm thinking maybe stainless can help.............

    The coin pictured in your link appears as though it might be gold, the weight listed is very close to the weight of yours. They have described the coin as:
    Sultani (3.42g), minted in Egypt 1027 AH / 1618 AD in during the reign of the Ottoman sultan Osman II (1027-1031 AH / 1618-1622 AD.

    What other information are you seeking?

    Welcome to the forum and very nice coin. Do you have a picture of yours so we can see the two and see if there are any differances. I agree with PG that stainless will probably be the most help
    Coins are the only hobby you can spend all your money on and still have something to spend. What a great hobby!

    There a lot of interest middle eastern coinage lately.
    I do know 1 Gold coin set new records for Price it sold for.

    I am not sure were you could find an expert but that is one thing you may want to look in too
