LOL , I owe this to you Frank , you're the one who taught me how to get a pic that I took with my camera to the forum . Thanks buddy . I put the caption 1/2 cent on the pic , but somehow it got screwed up with a trade dollar pic I was going to post , anyways it's my 1st Dirty picture on the forum .

Actually I've got some clearer shots , since I got the copy stand . I just can't remember how . LOL There's so many settings on these cameras if I press the wrong button the flash comes on or it shoots in some wierd monochrome greenish color . I did learn not to try to focus using the zoom . I need better lighting and a better place , the basements still got piles of tile that the flood ruined and dust everywhere where we pulled some drywall down . I'll have to start writing everything down till I get it down like the others . Next I'll post a Trade dollar that might be counterfeit .

I have to get a copy stand and get a good set up for taking close up shots. I then need to really work on my photography. That is something I am really lacking. I have read the photo threads numerous times but I am still working on getting better

I think Heaths a better photographer than most , probably a perfectionist like me and a lot others , Ken if I get as good as you I'll be happy . Especially the way you put the black background in with both coins reflecting at the bottom .

I have photoscape down. I can edit and crop the pictures. The problem is taking good clear close up shots that are pretty diificult. I need to get a copy stand. I dont have one of those yet and according to all the great coin photographers here, it is a must to take good close up shots.
I am glad that my post about photoscape helped you green.
Rusty, take a look at my write up after you download photoscape. You should be able to crop and post on black backing with reflections after you read it. If not, send me a PM and I will try and help.

I just the pics you shot and edited them using photoscape in less than two minutes. Hope you like it.

I am glad you like it. Like I said, take a look at the thread I did on how to work photoscape. Once you do it a couple of times, it will take less than five minutes to edit your pics. Even bad pics look better when they have been edited with back ground and titles.
